Fairly new to WordPress, but I followed through your video on adding pictures. Possibly a problem with the WP version (I upgraded), or my theme, but I have none of the menu selections you showed. I got a completely different screen, although most of the selections, such as horizonatal spacing were the same. After I added a picture though, setting it to the left of the text, when I published it the picture was all alone, with no text wrapping. It also screwed up my font selection, enlarging the font on the paragraph with the picture. Real mess.
Yes, admittedly this video is from the old WordPress version, but you should be able to function – most things are the same – still select the border & spacing – flush left / right – alt tags etc. just fine.
If it’s not working correctly for you, then I’ll bet it’s almost definitely a theme-specific problem. We see that frequently with so many people uploading free themes out there, and getting them all to behave as you wish can be tedious. (Try the process in the default theme to be sure)
Thanks, Scott. I’ll try to reach the developer on this theme, as adding in pictures is pretty basic stuff.
